Ebay.com and its indian subsidiary ebay.in are very popular and have come to stay for long in the current scenario of people preferring to buy on line.

3. You can get refund if the Product deviates or is Inferior/ Defective. I got a full  refund of about Rs. 3700/- from Ebay / US for a bad Phone. They also paid the Courier(return) charges of about Rs. 600/-. No normal shop in India accepts this.

5. You are updated about the Status of Order and will know exactly where the pack is.

I virtually had no issues with Ebay though I have done over 11 transactions large and small in the last 18 months.

The Following issues may be Pertinent while Purchasing on Ebay:

1. The site is very Friendly but could have been bettter Designed.

   
   




2. You Tend to Buy  unnecessary things due to ease in the transactions.

   
   




3. You may not get  the feel  of Shopping. But You can do normal inquiries, Zero-in on Product and then Order the same at a lower Price.

   
   




4. If You Donot Confirm recipt or Otherwise of the Receipt and Satisfaction within a Specified Time of despatch the Seller gets the money and you donot have any Claims. You have to be alert and frequently check your Ebay and email.

   
   

Overall I feel that if are used to Online Shopping Ebay is a great place and if You want to start, Ebay will a safe bet. Kudos to Ebay.
