I have only just started visiting this site after I became obsessed with auction sites. I had seen it advertised everywhere but never actually got round to looking at it.
Once I had registered, I decided to have a good look around the site. It was simple enough to navigate and bidding for items was pretty easy, although I did get a bit fed up of typing my user name and password in over and over again. I was very impressed with the items I bought on this site and so many things seemed to sell that I decided to auction some of my things on this site.
This is different from my old favourite Yahoo! as you have to pay to auction on eBay but at 15p per auction I thought that was pretty cheap. You can also add pictures to your auction for an extra 15p on their hosting space or free if you host them on your own. I tried to add pictures by using my own hosting space to save money but found this quite difficult and off putting to the buyer as you have to click on a link to see the picture as it is not on the same page as the rest of the auction. Then I decided to try using there hosting space. I found this very difficult to use and eventually gave up. I could not find the link to add the pictures, just lots of links to FAQs.
So I still have not used eBay Auctions as a seller because I really don't know how to. It may be simple enough and I may be thick but I definitely think this site could have better navigation and be a little bit more simpler to use.
If any of you think I am a bit thick and know exactly how to use eBay please let me know as I would love to be able to use it. And will change my opinion as soon as I can.
