I had booked EasyCabs for Yeshwanthpur railway station for 8PM Friday, 16th July. One of my relative needed to catch a train @ 10PM from Yeshwanthpur.
When there was no callback from driver till 7:50PM I called them back to get the status.
At that time easycabs informed me "your booking is canceled due to non-availability of cabs & they had sent a SMS", which I never received.
I asked easycabs how could you cancel a booking without informing me - atleast you could call me to make sure I get the update. The reply I got - "It’s our policy we can cancel booking any time & just send SMS only". The easy cab guy was rude in talking & was just referring some screwed up policy which I was never informed about - that booking can be canceled any time.
When I repetitively asked him to forward the call to his manager, he told he is fwding & just kept me waiting for ~10 mins without any reply - obviously he had kept the phone aside.
Got cancellation SMS @ 7:58 during my call.
This is completely unreliable & unprofessional service from easycabs, which I wrongly thought was better. I will advise everyone in my office, network & other professionals to avoid unprofessional & unreliable easy cabs.
