ESPN over the years has emerged as Asia’s no.1 sports channel. This is the only sports channel in the entire sub-continent that offers a variety of entertainment in the world of sports to its die-hard sports lovers.
ESPN covers a wide range of sporting actions, ranging from cricket to x- games, which have now become very famous in entire India. And one of the most watched programmes on ESPN is the UEFA cup championship and the Championship League that is held in England every year.
The origin of ESPN goes back right in October 1995, when it hosted the live telecast of the test series between India and new Zealand but the big shot in the arm came for the channel when in 1996 it hosted firstly the India tour of England and then most significantly the first edition of the Sahara Cup between India and Pakistan.
So the sports lovers in entire Asia owes a lot to this channel and credit must be given to ESPN who has kept up its reputation by doing quality work.
