I am a Biotechnology candidate with 3 experiences in Medical Coding from Hyderabad. Happy to say that I am a CPC coder too. I was running around Chennai without any clarity were to approach and how to find a right company in Chennai. Since I moved recently to Chennai after my marriage it was very difficult to get a lead into a good concern.Through one of my friends who is working in Ecare India I got to know that they are recruiting experienced CPC coders.
I was happy that at least one lead has come to kick start. Since it was the first time to this company my friend took me for the interview. I was sitting at the reception and I was given a form to fill. One young HR girl guided me to fill the form and forwarded to someone to the HR? I was very tensed when I got into the first phase of interview. Another HR was there who clearly explained the requirement and process of the organization. I haven't seen such a detailed HR interview process.
Later I was put through to the technical interview. I must tell about this round as it was very interesting and very very informative. I was literally feeling that what I have learnt in the last 3 years are nothing comparing to exposure that coders in Ecare are getting. My inner mind was saying that I must somehow get an opportunity there so that I can learn lot. Surprising to see such experienced staff with vast knowledge in Medical Coding. After half an hour of mutual sharing of experience, I was asked to wait at the reception for the final input about my interview performance.
At last I was called in for the final discussion with the HR Manager. It was a very simple and casual discussion but very specific towards the longevity and future growth. Infact I praised him that his HR team was so professional and very approachable for any new comer. Finally I was offered and return home with lot of confidence that this offer will give me a good breakthrough in my life. Just shared my experience!
