This certainly is proving to be a great year for Abhishek Bachchan.

Well, unlike Sarkar, this review is not going to brag about AB's performance alone, for the simple reason that Dus has an ensemble cast all of who contribute to the film in their own ways - good or bad.

Here are 10 reasons why you should watch the film:

# 1: The song Dus bahane... which is where the film takes off from... kudos to Vishal and Shekhar for creating a track that is heard almost everywhere nowadays - be it blasting in cars, as mobile ringtones or caller tunes..

# 2: Abhishek Bachchan - since he is the current hot favourite of lots of women that I know. And once again he proves his mettle in this film.

# 3: Sanjay Dutt - who is always a pleasure to watch on screen.

# 4: Shilpa Shetty in her new Angelina Jolie avtaar even sporting a fake tattoo on her back. Something for the guys...

# 5: Technicality - which the film so proudly showcases are some fine edit patterns and kool background score.

# 6: Locales - Shot majorly in Canada (the director's favourite - given he has shot for all his three films there).

# 7: Action & thrill: The film is very hollywoodish in its approach and the story has some interesting twists to offer.

# 8: Zayed Khan: Who has been kinda over shadowed but still manages to leave an impact.

# 9: No mushy romance: Like I said earlier, the film is very hollywood in its approach and that is kinda the nice part. Instead of breaking into a song-and-dance routine the screenplay sticks to the story at hand. In fact even the way the romance between Abhishek and Esha has been treated is quite refreshing.

# 10: Finally - in recent times, Dus is one of the decent flicks that has been made.

10 reasons not to go watch this film:

# 1: Hamming actors - starting with Raima Sen and ending with her as well.

# 2: Esha Deol's hairdo - quite a bad one.

# 3: Dia Mirza's fiancee - who is this guy??

# 4: Unnecessary action - the Sunil Shetty chase sequence and the car bombing and Sunil getting shot..

# 5: Gulshan Grover's histrionics - not that he has done a bad job - the build up is a little too much

# 6: Item number - hai ishq to.. could have been avoided.

How many costume changes are there in one disco song????

# 7: Sunil Shetty's past - there really isn't any need to know where he is coming from or is there?

# 8: The lack of lighter scenes between Abhishek and Zayed in the second half of the film

# 9: Long drawn climax - a lot of people would agree that it could have been a bit more snappier.

# 10: Abhishek Bachchan sacrificing his life - sympathy for him for sure - but again it has been dragged a bit too much.
