With the kind of jazzy promos that were being aired, I was expecting Dus to be the kind of movie you saw without discussing much about the logic behind the actions. And I wasnt disappointed at all.

The best part of the movie is the credits/opening, where an ultra cool Abhishek croons Dus Bahane...with Zayed. The sequence is well shot and extremely stylish. He is amazing in the movie, oozing coolness. Zayed as the ''bomb expert'' (though from his antics in the movie, one would be surprised if he can repair a watch), Sunjay as the boss and Shilpa as the colleague are all well cast. (Though the roles of these individual characters are hardly detailed...but then, that was not even expected.) Then there is Esha Deol....I wonder whether this gal is so desperate that she has resorted to blink-and-you-miss-me kind of roles.

But Pankaj Kapoor walks away with the cake. His performance as the nervous man managing the accounts of the terrorist is awesome. It is funny without getting over the top or irritating. His performance as Jamwal, is also cool. (Notice the names Indian movies have for terrorists, Mogambo, Jamwal, Shakal...guess their creativity gets over while coming up with these names.)

Special mention for Shilpa, the lady is looking hot!! Thank God that there are no scenes where Esha and Shilpa are together, it wouldve been a very poor result for Esha.

The logic in the movie being non-existing, its all about style!! And the results show. Tha handling is slick, fast...though why the reason to get the romantic angle between Abhi and Esha!! There is NO chemistry between the characters,.... there is no scope for development of chemistry!!

The end sequence was hilarious....why couldnt Abhi and Esha jump using parachutes?? And if Zayed could drive to a secluded spot in 15 mins, surely Abhishek could FLY there in no time!! I was laughing...no, howling away at the end. I have not seen something so funny and senseless since.....since Kaal I might say. (I personally feel that Abhi's character preferred death to some time with Esha...hehehe).

Music is awesome, its scaling the charts, so no need to talk abt it. Though I realised that the background score seemed lifted from Bhoot at times, if not lifted, then definitely ''inspired''.

Overall, full timepass. But needless waste of reel on emotional angle, watered down the effect. (Dhoom was one movie that is a good example of concentration wholly on one factor and thats action.) Couldve been much better.
