I had visited Durvankur 2-3 times. The food quality of Durvankur is good and tasty. No doubt about it. Whenever you visit Durvankur there you will find the Dining hall full and you will have to wait for few minutes. The rate of one Thali or Tat called in Marathi is around 70 to 80 Rs where one person can eat unlimited food in 70-80 Rs except the sweet dish (Amrakhand, Rabdi, etc). But the stomach of a normal person gets full after eating 3-4 chapatis and little rice. In other restaurants the price of 1 Thali is around 50 to 60 Rs but there you get limited food like 2 Bhaji or gravy, 2 rotis or 3 chapatis, curd, 1 pappad, rice and 1 sweet dish.
The Thali is limited but this much meal is sufficient for one person. So the people who has eating habits who can eat a lot like more than 7-8 chapatis, lots of rice and bhaji for them this Durvankur or other dining hall is good for them where one can eat unlimited. So according to my knowledge its better to take away parcel from Durvankur and eat at home. Durvankur also has a parcel facility for customers where they give limited food. 2 Thalis of Durvankur is sufficient for 3 persons to eat.
