*Well to start off with is the seats. I travelled yesterday from Coimbatore to Chennai in Duronto. The lever for the seat is not working properly. The seating was 3X2 and I was sitting in the very first entrance of the coach. The couple sitting opposite to me did not have foldable tables as it was broken. The inner doors of the coach was not properly fitted as it was missing a few nuts and bolts. The charging point or the socket seems to be broken or had a loose conduct.
The cleaners were cleaning the train only in the last 20 or 25 minutes before the departure time. I dont know how much time they to clean up all the previous messes. The train blasted all the way from Coimbatore to Chennai though it stopped at Erode, Salem and Thiruvallur making the stopping time of approximately a total of 15 minutes. The coaches looked like unserviced for an decade or so. The door had a very minor gap which let the AC seep out a little unnoticeable. The food has always been a problem in most of the trains and this one is no exception.

I hate to say this but, the Duronto express is just a fast money making machine for the railways than a very comfortable or an enjoying passenger train. If the train authorities could put some little effort on this train, surely it would become a heritage of South India.
