Dubai.
No doubt this name is so well known that hardly anyone needs introduction to Dubai, but there are many things which can be discussed and write about Dubai, I use to travel to Dubai by road from Muscat when I use to work in Muscat and it takes about 3 hours from Muscat to reach Dubai.
You will find lots of hotels here to stay, luxury and economy hotels are available all over dubai.
Dubai a part of UAE, is well known for its business and shopping, apart from business and shopping, there are many places where you can enjoy your day and nights.
Dubai Creek : divides the city of Dubai into two separate sections; Bur Dubai and Deira. To get to the creek, just take a taxi which is relatively cheap. The creek is busy with water taxis and Dows, water taxis are very cheap and it takes approx 5 minutes to reach opposite side, a means of transporting people and goods. It is a beautiful area where markets can be found; restaurants, etc. A must see.
Wild Wadi : water park is just near the world famous Burj al Arab hotel.. The park has very nice water games and you will enjoy a complete one day in the park. The park is inside a 12 acres area and 23 different themes are waiting for you
The Entrance fee to the park was 99,- Dirhams around 30,- USD, For kids it was 80 dirham...However if you stay in one of the Jumeriah hotels you can obtain a free entrance card..
Day time Deira Dubai is the busy market place for business, finding parking is big headache but nowadays there is lot of pay and park available, you go shopping and find your choice of stuff in diera market, Gold market, readymade garment, cosmetics, footwear, mobile phones, electronics, I should say a complete market place for your each and every daily needs and luxury is available in deira market, and you will also find money exchange in diera dubai.
Food is good, again here you will find Indian and Pakistani food, and Delhi Darbar restaurant if you prefer some high quality food.
Heavy Traffic whole day on the road but finding a cab is not difficult, you will get a pakistani driver driving cabs, and language is not a problem in Dubai because lot of Indians and Pakistani peoples here have taught an arab to talk hindi.
Anyways, Dubai is famous for its shopping festivals and business, so everyone can enjoy their days in Dubai, because there are lot of amusement parks for kids and grown ups.
