Dubai is a melting pot. You get to meet people from the world over. It has the best of the West and the East.
we had travelled to Dubai for a conference as it is a neutral meeting point.
We were there at the ''right time'' in Feb. when the climate is perfect. Never make a mistake to be there post March.
Shopping is great there...prices seemed unbeatable until we came back and realised that all electronic equipments were available in good old Mumbai, except SLIGHTLY more expensive.
Japaneese cotton salwar suits are superb..but expensive upward of Rs. 3500.
Cuisine from the world over is available. Do not miss the Lebonese Shorba and Felafel.
We loved the clean pollution free environment and disliked the fact that corruption to a small extent has crept in. Thanks to??
Would recommend a visit at least once for all age groups.
The sand dunes and belly dancers are a treat!!
