If I have to rate the movie out of 5, I will give it a full 5. The last few weeks have been really good for Bollywood. It all started with Bahubali then Bajrangi Bhaijaan and now Ajay Devgn starrer – Drishyam.

This movie is a remake of the Malayalam Movie starring MohanLal and Meena by the same name. The original movie was remade in Telugu as Drushyam starring Daggubati Venkatesh and Meena in the lead and also in Kannada as DRISHYA with V. Ravichandran and Navya Nair in the lead. Recently it was made in Tamil as PAPANASAM starring the Superstar Kamala Hassan and Gauthami.

The Bollywood Drishyam is starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran. The plot starts with Vijay(Ajay Devgn) who is an orphan, uneducated, self made man, who now owns his Cable TV Service in Pandolem; Goa is sitting at the Police Station.

He is a family man and is street smart with the help of his love for Television. He loves watching TV at his office; he watches everything from CID to Sunny Leone. The trouble begins when Vijay and Nandini’s(Shriya Saran) eldest daughter is harassed by a guy. The guy is none other the son of the Inspector General Meera Deshmukh(Tabu).

This story is not suspense as the viewers know everything that is happening. It is more of a thriller movie as the viewers are trying to know how the protagonist will get away with the things done by them.

The movie has one bad/cruel guy – Inspector Gaitonde whose cruelty will leave you with anger.

The movie luckily, doesn’t have an item number to spoil the entire feel of the movie. Also, the best part is that the movie hasn’t wasted time in a song; rather the songs have been played in the background covering the story as well.

After the interval you will see every page turning all over again and all you will have is a ‘Hawwww’ moment - The moment where you will jump off your seat to just say “Hawwww”. You will be surprised to know what exactly happened before the interval.

When you’ll are leaving the theatres, you will certainly feel, your being zombified for a few moments as you will still be in shock as to what happens in the end and then you will say the words, “What the hell! Amazing movie…”

The movie is worth a watch.

It is still in theatres.
