I have been going to him for at least last 5 years. After reading some of the comments posted here, I felt compelled to write this review.
I have gone to him thrice for different problems in my legs, and I have got success twice. Also when my brother-in-law had a knee problem, every doctor we went to (Sagar Apollo, Greenview, and Hosmat) told us that a immediate surgery is required. But I wanted to wait for Dr. Deepak Sharan to see him (he was not available immediately at that time, hence we went to other places because of the urgency of the situation) before taking a decision to go for operation. And it was one of the best decisions we took.
After seeing him the doctor said that there is a 50% chance that it will get cured by Physiotherapy and no operation may be needed. He went through the physiotherapy and now he is perfectly fine.
Also my wife slipped in the bathroom and injured her knee, and got treated by the doctor and got cured completely through physiotherapy.
Initially I also felt that the doctor is not very open and approachable, as he used to answer only if you ask him a question, else he won’t completely explain. But over a period of time I am seeing that he has started explaining the problem and started spending more time which is good to see.
One problem that I face with him is, he is never available when I need to see him as he keeps on travelling to various places and to various other clinics. Also if I have to see him, some times the waiting time can be even over 2 hours…even after taking appointment!! Also I am not very satisfied with the team of physiotherapist he has in his clinic.
Even though some are very competent, others try to just finish the job. I had had a mixed experience. For the same treatment, 3 physiotherapists treated me in completely 3 different ways…not sure whether the treatment can vary so much from one physiotherapist to another.
