I had a shocking experience with these people when one of my friend got an eye infection because of which he suddenly lost the vision of his left eye. we took him to a renowned hospital first but because of sunday, no doctor was available there. We, then took him to the Agarwal's eye hospital. Upon reaching the hospital I was very much surprised to see the setup which looked like more of a home than a hospital. Only 2-3 attenders and doctors were there who, after initial checkup called doctor sunita agarwal to see the case. Soon after coming in front of my friend (patient) that lady told us loudly about the seriousness in the case. She told us that the eye has got damaged and an urgent treatment is required to get his vision back, the probability of which was only around 1 percent. Knowing that we all were students she started scaring us even more. Then we called the parents of our friend who told us to do whatever the doctor says to save his eyes as they were too far to be able to do anything themselves. The lady then put an injection in his eyes and told us that the injection is worth 1.5 lacs rupees.
After 3 hours and she again put the same injection in his eyes.. The next day my friend's parents came and they were shocked to see that these people had made a bill of around 4.5 lacs within a span of some 8-10 hours. The worst part was that my friend was still not able to see from that eye. His condition was getting worse so his dad decided to shift him to some nethralaya in jayanagar. These people had already made a bill of Rs 4.5 lacs. Uncle (my friend's dad) refused to pay such a huge amount and told them to give the explanation of the injections that were put into his eye to which the doctor refused to give saying that it was their patent.
Heated argument followed this to which these people responded with the start of negotiation. Doctor Agarwal told them to pay only Rs 80, 000 instead of 4.5 lacs and then she came to 40, 000!! This was completely shocking..! Finally my friend was forcefully discharged and taken to that nethralaya after his dad warned these people of the dire consequences of their shameful act. Eventually they got away from that place without paying them a single penny. He was then taken to the nethralaya where the doctors told the a wrong treatment has been done. His parents then took him to their native place, i.e Delhi for further treatment where he got his full treatment which included a surgery and heavy medications thereafter, by a very well known doctor of AIIMS. This doctor told them that all this surgery was not required if he had been given a proper treatment there in Bangalore itself. As of now ( nearly 35 days after the surgery) my friend has got his vision back and is improving day by day. All thanks to God Almighty!
I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS CON PLACE EVEN TO MY ENEMY FOR ANY KIND OF EYE TREATMENT. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU IN YOUR LIFE (even worse than death)!
