I had gone for a routine eye chek up to Dr.Agarwal Hospitals, on Hosur road, Bangalore, and was waiting for my turn to meet the doctor. Suddenly there was an uproar and a small boy was brought in bleeding. Immediately the doctors rushed out to meet him. From what I heard he was hit in the eye by his teacher. The doctors immediately took charge and treated him and did not waste any time. What I appreciate more is that they kept the paying customers waiting to treat a child who looked he could not even afford a ruppee. Wish there were more hospitals with a heart. Ofcourse I got delayed by another hour but the wait was worth it.
Finally I got to meet the doctor and the staff apologized for the delay. My ailment was that I was suffering from scratchy eyes and had used eye drops from various doctors for over two years with relief for a few days and then the problem would start again. I was confused as to what to do, and then when I came here I was suggested silicon plugs which cost me 8000Rs. I had never heard of this anywhere else and thought I had nothing to loose so I went ahead and got it done, which took a few minutes. Today after three weeks I find myself 90% cured. I found out that in the same treatment in USA cost about 3000 $ The best part is that none of the other doctors had any solution except eye drops which was very temporary. Looks like this hospital knows what it is doing and gives solutions for long term basis Definately one of the best hospitals which has the latest technology in comparison with other hospitals around the world
