This product does have great softening power. But what they don't tell you is that it leaves a greasy residue on the inside of your washing machine.
I have been using this stuff for a while. It gummed up my washing machine so bad that it started spraying grease spots on all my clothes. It ruined over $300 worth of my clothes as well as my sisters and our children. The washing machine repairman told us it was the downy and sure enough, the vaseline type goop we scraped off the inside of the washing machine smelled like ''Clean Breeze.''
It took forever to clean out the washing machine, but the spots on our clothes are permanent. I was very disappointed with the outcome in this situation. Under the circumstances, I could never recommend this product to anyone who does not want to purchase a new wardrobe.
