For many years I only used a body wash because every bar soap I have ever tried has left me feeling like I am unclean and have a ''film'' on my body.
I had a coupon for $1.00 off Dove so I figured I'd give it a chance since a 2 bar pack is only $1.97 at my local Walmart. so it wound up being .50 cents a bar after the coupon. Good deal
Dove soaps come in rose- which is a pink bar- regular, sensitive and unscented- all which are white, and now they have a exfioliating bar which is white with blue ''dots'' and the have a nutrium bar which is white with pink ''strips''
I prefer the regular bar- I like the scent the best out of all. It is very fresh and clean- although it may be a little feminine. The unscented is more appealing to the men in my household. The pink bar is a little to rose smelling for me.
Dove bar soap lathers up very easily and produces a nice rich lather. I have found it lathers better with a bath pouf than a washcloth. Dove rinses very clean without any filmy residue. I have nothing but soft smooth skin and my skin (on my body and legs) tends to run normal to dry.
Dove is recommended by dermatologists for people with problem skin- so why wouldn't it be good for all skin.
Some people use Dove as a facial cleanser. I have oily skin on my face and do not recommend it for my skin type, however many people with normal to dry skin may like it. It certainly won't hurt your skin or cause overdryness.
I recommend Dove as a wonderful body soap for the whole family.
