I had beautiful curly tresses once not so long ago..o..o... they all
fell prey to Hormonal autumnal fall after the birth of my second baby.
And here I was, like a typical female, just craving to have my
beautiful hair back. I was rather fond of my hair u see, and it was one
of the nicest things people noticed about me first...and its loss was like a dent to my self esteem too.
I some earlier part of my life my hair's sheen and body had been
restored by Sunsilk(that was the time I think when it was oily so even
sunsilk was gradually stripping it of the essential oils, it didn't
show the harm too much). But now my hair texture is normal and any
shampoo was just making it so brittle and dry. I was having to
condition it every time and even then after a few hours it would become
dry again.
Then Dove moisturizing shampoo happened. Lulled into the consumer trap
by its compelling advertisement of ladies running their fingers thru
silken hair(I must confess I am a prudent consumer and am wary of ads,
esp of the cosmetic/toiletry variety that all promise metaphysical
improvements to this mortal body). I guess I was at the stage when I
was willing to overlook my skepticism and try the shampoo. I was
definitely influenced by the fact that Dove brand enjoys "integrity".
Their bar soap is genuinely better than others in the market and does
soften the skin. So using the shampoo was just vertical integration and
I brought a bottle 1 month back. Its expensive than other shampoos and
comes in a white colored flip open bottle. Rather resembles the Al Burj skyscraper of Dubai ;-)
And amazingly, I felt the results straight away. Even when I was
rinsing it off I could feel my hair smooth . There was no need for
conditioner esp if the hair has had an oil massage earlier, even
something as short as 20-25 minutes.
The shampoo lathers well, is economical to use since almost 1/2 of
normal amount is required. Its spreads easily on the palm and the scalp
and the texture is silky. I would definitely recommend as I am
personally a very satisfied consumer. After continued use there is
marked improvement in my hair quality- It has more volume and has grown
too.
So yes, can safely go for it.
