I had been an employee of the said organization for the period between September 25 and December 2nd. Here, I like to share my bitter experiences with all of you.
I joined the company with an oral promise of being made editor at a salary of Rs 20, 000/- per month and within 2-3 months I would be made Quality Analyst(QA) and the salary thereafter would be around 25, 000 p.m.
Their salary cycle is from 16th to 15th of the subsequent month and for this whole period they would be paying the salary on the first of next month, making it a waiting period of 45 days from the first working day provided you join on the 16th of a month.
That I joined on 25th of September and having worked for 21 days in their salary cycle and I was expecting anything between 13, 000/- and 14, 000/- based on my calculations and I was eagerly awaiting till November 1st for getting the same. Since that day fell on a Sunday, the pay should be on October 31st as per the knowledge given by the branch manager, but the day has gone without the event and I got an amount of Rs. 9, 296/- on the second of November. I was surprised and more disappointed as the paltry amount could not fetch my immediate needs.
Before the 20th of October I took an advance of Rs. 2, 000/- for my immediate needs and the HR promised to collect it in two installments.
I took the matter to HR woman and asked her what was my salary and how they arrived at that conclusion. All she said was there might be some error in calculating the salary and that is being(the balance) and any day I will receive it in the coming two to three days. Fifteen days passed and on the 15th of November I asked her again to be told that I will be getting it along with the next month's salary on December 1st.
I waited patiently for those 15 days and in between to cater my needs I took Rs. 3, 000/- as another advance and told them to deduct the amount plus previous 1, 000/- from the salary I am going to get on December first and they accepted.
To my surprise, I did not get either the salary for the period between October 16th and November 15th and the due I was to get in the previous month and I was told that since I could not inform them of my absence for about two to three days after 25th November, they stopped the salary and I will be getting on 15th December. They even told the same to a friend of mine when he contacted them on behalf of me. I waited till now i.e. the evening of December 15th and took to this article.
That I am not going to leave them for their deeds is the first one, I am going to extract the whole money in one form or other.
What I want to tell the world is please verify the credentials of a company from a senior employee before joining a company? Beware of such cheating companies and save yourself from being cheated by them.
The company has its branches in Pune, Belgaum, and Kochi. They are going to celebrate their annual day in this month end.
