Nadeem Shravan are my favourite music composers who always delivered best of the music. Ever I listened to them have the feeling that they are doing things on single pattern and the pattern is continuous. People said many things about Nadeem Shravan, for instance they are repeating, copying, using old music formats, no experimentation etc etc, but fact is that Nadeem Shravan are those people who have presented some of most memorable music albums which are landmark in Indian Music Industry. The numbers of these winners are not restricted to one two or ten it’s more than that. If you don’t believe see the music album sales report from year 1990-2005, every single year as separate includes more than 4 top sellers in top ten best sellers. Post 1997 their music albums are lessen per year but 4 or 5 a year movies they give have best of the music and even out of these 4-5 they have 3 best sellers every year. People wait eagerly for a music release with a tag of Nadeem Shravan. The one thing which I ever loved the most about Nadeem Shravan is that they never worked with the biggest banners of the Industry like Rajshri & Yashraj. Once worked with Mukta Arts for Pardes and that is the best music album by any Subhash Ghai movie, though his almost all movies have excellent music.
According to the latest news Dosti is the last album we would see with a tag of Nadeem Shravan as they call a split and will not work together more. Sad news but it happened to most of the very best music duos like SJ &LP joining those JL & NS. All of these people later on joined their names for music composition and their reunion was welcomed by everyone so as we expect JL & NS to reunite and give us what they are best at.

Udit Narayan & Sonu Nigam
Melodious Track. A soothing musical gala is celebrated in terms of title track. Both superb singers have sung the song as it deserve. Lyrics are also very attractive and one addition to the Best Friendship songs. Though there is not much change in the style of music as NS previous have but it is the thing where NS are at best. Violin & Tabla is very very humbly used and make the song more loving. With Sonu and Udit singing together a milestone is created.
DULHANYA
Kunal Ganjanwala, Abhijeet & Alka Yagnik
Continuous sound of Dulhanya in the chorus surrounds and it can be said from the layout of the song that a grand party is set for which the song is to be picturized. Kunal doing great these days and giving some of memorable tracks. Abhijeet and Alka also got to sing the song and they have done good in the end. A dancing Shadi track will be a wedding track for the coming months.
AISA KOI
Abhijeet & Alka Yagnik
A regular track which a NS album always has in their last release Barsaat it was in form of Pyar Aaya and this time its in form of Aisa Koi Zindgi main Aye. Arrangements are strictly ok and tune is worthwhile. Abhijeet & Alka rare fails to hit the bull’s eye when ever they sing duet and this time too they are right on top.
LET’S BOOGIE WOOGIE
Kunal Ganjanwala & Vasundhara Das
A pure surprise. NS usually don’t have these kind of songs in their albums but this time they have it in full and is sung by Kunal whose sexy voice has already spread magic all around accompanied by Vasundhara who has given the song a complete winners look. A remix of this song is expected to release in coming days but this song itself rocks.
ISHQ NA
Sukhwinder Singh & Kailash Kher
I heard the song once and my opinion was generated this is the song. A qawali cum song which has some usual instrumental but Sukhwinder as singer along with alaps of Kailash Kher. This is a situational number but will not disappoint you at all. Ankh Bhar Ayi Hai and the pick of vocal in this song by Sukhwinder gives a pure high feeling.
AUR TUM AYE
Sonu Nigam & Alka Yagnik
A cute song. I remember mid 90s when NS use to produce these kinds of songs and people just for sake of one song buy their full albums. The situation is not different yet, as over the last few years also every released album by NS got the best response and people admired them all time. A romantic song which as NS genre and with some fast tabla the song just rocks. One of the best songs this year.
YAAR DI SHAADI
Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik & Sarika Kapoor
Punjabi track with song cool music what else the dance floor needs. Another Shadi genre track which is much to give boost to the tempo that album has developed so far by having all songs interesting and loving. As I said earlier Sonu these days sings whatever is hot or whatever Sonu sings becomes hot. Abhijeet is as ever cool with Alka who still has her vocal value alive, whereas Sarika Kapoor needs some more training to develop her voice she is ok in the song. in the end a very good song to conclude the album.
Dosti is a complete album with everything from soft music to romantic and from hip-hop to Bhangra a very sweet album which will cater masses. As far as Nadeem Shravan are concerned they have the reason to joy this year as Bewafaa is the best seller afterwards Mere Jeevan Saathi also done well and Barsaat is still growing in its sales following by Dosti which I am sure will do better than Barsaat. So my recommendations for the album are 200%.
