DOsa Diner , the new joint to hit Mumbai’s already crowded
eateries’s list. The start was slow but now has picked up
quite well, with branches in bandra , Andheri & Chembur
this place is quite Ok. The Dosas are very Innovative I
must say but the preparation leaves a bit more to be
desired. The Place is done up well with a cosy look and
wooden based chairs giving a very chic look, the lighting
is not very bright but will do.
I liked the way the Meal is arranged , For 150 bucks you
can have a starter , a main course , a dessert & a drink.
Now thats what I call value for money. The Wadas & Idlis
are Fab, perfect shaped hot & crisp , biting into them
sends u into a frenzy . The dosas as I mentioned are ok ,
the pesaret is good, the Appams are too good !!! fluffy &
nice, you get a helping of 3 appams with veg or non veg
stew - kerala style.
The Sambar is not that great at all ,being a southie myself
I am very particular about sambars & this left a lot to be
desired. The cHutneys were ok too, with no Hing in them to
give that zing to it.
Moving over to the beverages the Chaas is fab & among the
desserts the brownie with ice cream is really good.
Overall the MEal Deal can only be finished by someone with
a garangutan appetite. IT can be easily shared by two.
