Whenever I see a movie like this I feel who selects the movie which should go for Oscar? The committee should have people who has seen ateast 10 past winners in foreign film category to be able to select the right movie themselves. We have so good movies made but largely they go unnoticed because they do not advertise them. It is only on mouth to mouth publicity that these movie are seen by general mass. It would have been best bet in Oscar Foreign Film Category.
This movie is really good. The story is excellent. The cast selection is also perfect. Each person has put in their own best. Superb performance, excellent story, best cast selection, and best performance delivered by the star cast. Cinematography is also good. Lyrics of the songs are also hummable. It really touches the heart.
As far as I am concerned I really liked Ayesha. She has not only looked like a young widow with all suppressed feeling. The pain was visible from her eyes. It does not mean that Gul was any less herself. The anxiety to make Ayesha agree to sign for husbands freedom is really apparent.
Bravo Keep it up! Best movie I had seen in recent time
