You haven’t seen the best of DD in its original splendor if you aren’t a bored housewife , an elderly vegetable or a young vacationing vegetable like me. If ur looking for the deepest, darkest depression of your life to descend upon you, then I suggest you switch on DD1 at 11 AM. You’ll spend the day under a Banyan tree learning about birth control from happy farmers. You’ll sip tea from steel glasses with scruffy dry-mouthed patriarchs in blue walled rooms. If ur lucky you may even learn how to make party hats with old newspapers. . One serial after another merging into each other in a slow, lulling sequence designed to stupefy you into a state of melancholy vegetable-hood. It’s almost 11 already and I have to go see what those charming, playful little hand puppets will do today.
