Hi, I had placed an order online for pizza on 15th March 2014. The pizza center Given in order delivery was Old Airport Road, Murgesh Palya, Bangalore. The order was cancelled saying that it was outside the area radius circle.
They have told that the amount will be credited back within 7 days.Till now the amount is not credited. I have raised the formal complaint to my bank on the same they are investigating the matter.
Below are the points I came to know after this Incident:
a) Their online pizza ordering is totally crap, faulty It takes the order even if the area is not their radius circle.
b) Placing the order online a confirmation mail is sent to the mail id but when order is cancelled or for refunding the money no mail is sent. Even if you ask them mail they wont provide. One way of cheating customer's by hiding the facts.
c) For cancelling the order it takes 5 mins but refunding the money takes more than 7 days, what type of rule is this.
d) Someone from feedback dept calls up after 1 day of order cancellation and gives some ref no which even the bank customer care dept cant track it. This is done so that customer's action is diverted to calling bank .
e) Misinformation in the Dominos dept Some say the refund will credited Immediately others say it takes 7 Days.
f) For home delivery they are still charging higher service tax which is unlawful as per IT Laws.
g) Feedback /Complaint section in website is totally waste we just get a reference number in our mail id, that's all.
IT looks like a scheme set up domino's to fool all the customers by keeping the money in their account and earning good Interest. They are doing this with many customers. Have checked in complaint forums in the net.
I request all of you not to order online from them even if they give one pizza free, 10% discount or any other attractive schemes.
Anybody knows what is the procedure to approach the consumer court to lodge a complaint on this Incident.
Anyone had a similar Incident please share your views.
