It is a horror novel written by the American author Stephen King. This is actually a sequel of The Shining which was liked by the readers a lot. it follows the plot of The Shining and we can see Danny Torrance in the center of the plot. he is psychologically disturbed and on the other hand Windy who is her mother is undergoing recovery from her wounds.
The spirits who are not happy with Danny want to overpower him so that he can not shine in life. Danny is a character who has inherited the habits of his father and that is an affinity for alcohol and short temperament. there is another character Abra Stone who is a baby and she was born in the opening of the twenty first century. she is also psychologically very powerful and she predicts the terrorist attack of September11. it is very interesting to see that she successfully establishes a telepathic relationship with Dan.
As the time moves ahead the bond becomes more stronger and she starts shining better than Dan. this novel is a type of novel where we can see our time running without actually witnessing it. it is among one of the best novels which I prefer to read.
