Well I controlled myself for the last 2 years to not to write this. But on seeing nothing has been done for the last 2 years I had to write this.
Well DISHTV sucks if its raining or the sky is very heavily overcast. The channels do not come up. The software prompts to check the connection between the DISH and the set top box. On calling the local DISH TV person, I was amazed to know that even the DISH TV top technicians know of this limitation and as per their statement, nothing can be done about it.
So folks if you live in a raining area and intend to use DTH service then please refrain from doing so. It will be down most of the time. Moreover the clarity as mentioned by ads as "DVD" type is highly incorrect. In case of some channels you can clearly find digital frames changing and chucking of the digital frames, which even a simple Cable also does not have. Therefore this claim is totally baseless.
The only good part is that just due to power cuts you will not be devoid of TV. Its runs very well on alternate sources and being tapping every bit of signal from a satellite it still runs.
Thanks for reading this.
