I was facing signal problem with my dish tv connection. So I made a complaint to the DIsh TV customer care regarding it on 17th May 2008. The executive said that the problem is with the alignment of the dish and registered a complaint, assuring me that the problem would be fixed with in 24-48 hours.


I waited for someone to come for a week. But no one came. Again I called them up but their line or executives seem to be permanently busy with so many complaints(probably unattended complaints) that it takes over 5 min wait to be able to get connected to an executive. Again I was given the same assurance that problem would be fixed within 24 hours. But again the same sorry story, no one turned up.


After the last call and noone turning up for 2 days, I mailed Dish TV at their customer care mail id. From which I got a response that my complaint has been forwarded to the "Concerned Department" and they would be doing the needful soon.


For the past 3 weeks I have been calling and sending mails to the customer care of DIsh TVĀ  but no one is coming to fix the problem. It looks like that the executives have just been taught to apologize and not to get things done from their own departments. On calling customer care they keep apologizing for the inconvenience and say the problem would be fixed withing 24 hours or "as soon as posssible"(I think they meant never by this). And the response to the emails have been sorry for the inconvenience and the complaint has been forwarded to the "Concerned Department" which would surely do the needful soon.


Contacting the senior members of the customer care has not yielded any benefit.:(


Till now I have 2 complaints numbers for one problem!


It is extremely disappointing and shocking to see the kind of service provided.


A suggestion to DishTV. Change your motto from "


Assuring you the best of services." to "


Assuring you the worst of services."
