We own 2 DishTV connections at our home. When we bought the first DishTV connection, we were told by the dealer that the first connection is FREE for 6 months. If we buy another connection, it will be free for 12 months. So we bought another one. Now after 6 months, they told us to pay for both of them. On inquiring with them, they say that the offer was valid only if we activated both of them together.
There is no written offer document from them and no one is taking responsibility. Everything is fine print. Writing email to them is of no use. We seldom get replies and most of them do not address the issue. The toll free customer care number is of no use. You have to make an STD call always and wait for 10 minutes for the customer care. All the while you are listening to Shahrukh Khan - "Thoda aur dish karo..wish karo" When customer care speaks to you, their voice is purposely turned low so that you cant hear them properly.
The customer care people are not competent enough to answer your complaint and the customer gets fed up. Now people - this is the safest way for DishTV to get away with everything. There is nothing like TRAI where you can take up any matter related to DishTV. So please DONT WISH KARO and DONT DISH KARO ! Very bad quality of service.
