Sab pe Dish savaar haii. Review on Dish TV

While it works, it works. But there are a number of small but observable quirks that will make you pick up and phone and bang someone from dishTV.

1. Channel pack never stays fixed. Once we have PAID for something, it cannot be changed arbitrarily. I am sure if we take this to court, we will win. But most Indians(me included) have the chalta-hai attitude and due to this Dish is taking everyone for a ride( sab pe Dish savaar hai kinda makes an ironic sense).

   
   




2. The dish was not fixed properly. So whenever there is wind, we get rain on our TV.

   
   




3. There is a software issue with US TVs. The recorder plays  roughly 18% faster than the actual transmission. Since I own a US TV, I am the lucky winner to watch everything very quickly [I often complain that in a Indian soap things happen slowly. Now I get 20% faster updates]. Of course, calling Dish TV is absolutely useless since those guys can't even spell software.

   
   




4. Boot up time is too slow(May be a business decision) and ad-prone. Absolutely useless ads.
