The problem


I applied for a multi TV connection 2 months back in June. Before taking the connection I talked to the customtakeouter care guys who told me to tick mark a specific box in the SAF form to make it a multi-tv connection. The guys who came to install the connection also told me to do so. And I did the same. I also specifchandru021y wrote, multi tv connection in words in the form so that they do not miss it while processing the request.


Now, after two months, when the free time has passed, my second VC no(2nd connection, which was supposed to be a multi tv connection) was blocked. When I enquired about it


This is what happened with me.




  1. On 14th of August I sent a mail to the customtakeouter care email id customtakeoutercare@dishtv.in about the problem and talked to the customtakeouter care guys at 18601803474. The customtakeouter care guys told me to send an email. I did.




  2. Then after 2 days when nothing happened, I called up again. After 2 days, then they told me to send the scanned copy of the SAF form and the money receipt. I did that on 16th August.




  3. Today is 24th August and till today nothing has been done.




  4. On 15th as per suggestion of the customtakeouter care guy recharged my Parent account with Rs. 250/-






What have I got




  1. 3 complaint numbers.




  2. A rude call from the local Dist TV processor(in Guwahati, Assam). He says there is a server problem and so the “thing” is not yet processed. It may take another 7-10 days.






What have I done till now?




  1. Called up customtakeouter care atleast 10 times.




  2. Sent 15 emails




  3. Waiting for the last 10 days.






Dish TV seems to have surpassed Reliance in the Worst customtakeouter Service. That should be a record.


Summary:


10 Days and till nothing has happened. My account is deactivated. My connections are still individual and not yet changed to multi tv. It should have been done 2 months back when I applied for it. My TV is dead.


Apologies, complaint numbers and endless waiting.


And they call themselves “The Best DTH Service in the Asia.”


I amnot surprised now after seeing all the negative reviews of DIsh TV here in MouthShut_Official.
