The Dish TV was the first of its kind in home satellite Television broadcast. The programs are the very same that you recive from your local cable operator, however the quality of reception is DVD like. The picture quality and sound clarity are best enjoyed on a 5.1 channel surround system, which would make even your mom's favorite SAAS BAHU serial sound and look like a Sci-Fi Drama complete with deafening effects and real life trauma....
Dish also offers music channels and some channels like HBO which the newly launched Tata Sky doesnt... The Channels are not under the purview or your local operator which means, its uncensored information (direct broadcast)....good for u, bad for the kids....!
tata sky although sounds very promising, has a dearth of channels thus making it a choice if nothing else works out.
If you could wait for sometime, grapevine says that Reliance would soon be launching thier service that would support even worldspace radio apart from the regular FM and TV channels....
Its definetely a wait and knowing these Reliance guys, they would not leave any stone unturned to achieve the best in sales.....
