Dish tv is the worst service provider ever. If you are thinking of buy Dish, THINK AGAIN. See the issues I faced. (1) The guy who installed did not explain that you have to keep the some channel for 24 hours. So we did not get more then 5/6 channels for a week. I kept calling these guys but either they dont pick or take the request and dont do anything.
(2) I moved to a new city and call their customer service about the address change and also for Dish installation. You will not believe that all my requests were forwarded to my old city and and old city folks said that they will not serve the request. This happened 6 times and every instance took three days. Finally, I searched around the new city and hired the guy myself to fix the Dish.
(3) The monthly payment is more then difficult. Earlier their wesite never used to work. The dealers in the city are never helpful. The toll free number given on their site is basically charged rs 3 a minute and minimum wait time of 20 mins.
(4) Now, their website is better. The moment I pay, I get SMS that I tried to make a payment. My bank will show the debit. But two days later I get SMS that payment is Due. Completely Confused.
NEVER BUY DISH.
