Being an ardent fan of Bhoomika, I went to watch this movie. (I also managed to digest RUN in the past). Also there was nothing else to do this weekend, this being the only hindi movie released. It is a low profile movie with zero logic but full of emotions. I must say, it was an ordinary movie?but it made my weekend!...........................................

STAR CAST

Atull Agnihotri :Director Saab

Sallu expose Khan :Rishabh (The Pati?Mr Cupid)

preTTy Gin-Tah :Pari (The Patni?Ms Gorgeous)

Bhoo-me-kah cha-wallah :Dhaani (Woh?Love Struck beauty)

Rati Agnihotri :Doctor Sahiba

Asif Sheikh :Rishab?s Colleague

Other beauties include : Riya Sen,Renuka Shahne, Helen, Dilnaz Paul(Ahem.)

STORY

Rishabh (Sallu bhai) is the chief of an ad agency and his wife, Pari (Preity) is a doctor. Pari is the epitome of love, happiness and sacrifice and Rishabh loves her more than anything else. Pari is Rishabh?s inspiration and he always fulfills every single wish of her. Sallu and Preity have been paired together on screen in ?Har dil jo Pyaar Karega? and ?Chori Chori Chupke Chupke?. But, their pair is looking superb in this movie. First half of the movie is very romantic, light and mushy-mushy.

Then, movie takes a sharp turn. Pari meets with a fatal accident and gives away her life. Preity had a dream to make a hospital dedicated to children. Rishabh takes it as an unfulfilled dream of Pari and decides to accomplish this project Parilok Hospital. Movie takes another turn and comes the entry of Dhaani. Dhaani is shown as a traditional Indian girl (name Dhaani suites her a lot). She is a natural beauty who doesn?t need any make up.

Dhaani finds her a place in Rishabh?s ad company. She starts getting attracted to Rishabh?s at the first sight, but, Rishabh always ignores and demotivate her.

Why Dhaani loves Rishabh so much ? Why everyone in Rishabh?s office likes her? What is the connection between Rishabh and Dhaani ?

PERFORMANCE

Salman: Inspite of being a wonderful actor, Salman spoilt his career by running into controversies. He is an experienced actor and his performance in TERE NAAM still haunts me. He has again made a comeback with series of Garv, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge and Phir Milenge. In DNJAK also, he fits well into the character of Rishabh. But, he still expose more than Bipasha Basu. I think, he should graduate from that stage to a sensible image now.

Preity: Preity is on her career high nowadays after KOI MIL GAYA, KAL HO NA HO and LAKSHYA. Frankly speaking, she didn?t play much roles in any of these movies. It was primarily because of King Khan and Tick Tick Roshan. But in DNJAK, she has a very strong character and entire movie revolves around her character. I am sure no one else could have performed this role so brilliantly. She has portrayed image of a cheerful and bubbly girl beautifully????????

Bhoomika: (I know it?s a repetition but I went to see only her in movie.) But, unfortunately she is just a one film wonder(TERE NAAM).

I agree that she fits well in the character Dhaani but completely fails to impress either by her beauty or ?nakhras?. She looked much beautiful in RUN also. I must confess that her acting skills are dull in front of Salman and Preity.

Rati Agnihotri: She is a talented actress. Role given to her was too easy and with great ease she performed it magnificently.

Asif Sheikh: I don?t know if many of you know this character. He plays the role of boss in ?Yess Boss? TV serial in SAB TV. He is an excellent comedian. For the first time, I saw him on big screen but I am sure , he has a long way to go.

Helen performed average. Renuka Shahne fails to recreate impact of Bhabhi of HUM AAPKE HAIN KAUN. Riya Sen is just horrible, she should concentrate only on item numbers. Dilnaz Paul performed well and managed to bring up some smile on viewers faces. (She plays asif Sheikh?s wife in YES BOSS. I am sure Director loves that serial)

MYOO-SICK

Reins of music are in expert hands of A R Rahman and nowadays-hyped-up Himesh Reshammiya. But, it fails to create much wonders.

Music is quite average except the title song ?Dil ne jise apna kaha?. Kamaal Khan?s voice is kabil-e-tarif in the song.

?Bindiya Chamakne lagi? is also nice. But, its picturization is much better.

Others include Ye dil to mila hai, Jane bahara, Go Balle Balle, Zindagi hai Dua and Meri Nas Nas mein tum ho.

WARNING : Some climax scenes revealed ahead. Continue reading at your own risk..

POST-MORTEM

This movie is a perfect example of Direction. It would have gone into doldrums, if it wasn?t handle that carefully. Frankly speaking there is nothing great in this movie. Plot wise, it?s a medical hara-kiri.. logic remotely inspired by HELLO BROTHER. Any sensible fellow will understand that things don?t happen like this. Story and end is also quite predictable. As I have said earlier, music is also nothing great. But, still it is a beautiful flick!!! Why?

All the actors and actresses fits well in their role and look natural. Viewers were surely spell bounded with the love of Rishabh and Pari. Every scene was handled beautifully and full of sentiments. Movie was surely a smooth flow. Nowhere one can find any drag. Although the base logic of movie, ?heart-transplant-love-too? was quite senseless. But when sentiments are on its high, at times logic fails. Director Saab got lucky in this case of faux-pas.

Scenes I liked:

1> Coo chi coo between Rishabh and Pari

2> Attack on Asif Sheikh by Homo

3> Dying scene of Pari

Scenes I disliked:

1> Sound of Beep Beep when Dhaani sees Rishabh.

2> Crying of Salman for Dhaani (his dialogues were pathetic).
