Dil junglee is another type of rom com movie which doesn't make any sense. One of the worst rom com of the decade. Even jab harry met sejal is 100 times better than this one. Same old plot of breakup then marriage at climax with very less entertaining approach. First half is average entertainer specially for youth but here comes the second half which is completely boring. Not a single enjoyable movement.
Storyline, screenplay and editing : -
There's nothing new in the storyline of the movie. Struggling Bollywood actor sumit uppal ( saqib saleem) who want to be rich and famous falls in love with rich girl koro ( tapsee pannu) who just want to be happily married. Than they both broke up at the interval and then meet again after 7 years in london and both falls in love again and somehow reunites at the climax. The messy and unimpressive screenplay comesin this plot. Editing is also not upto exceptions as there are lot of unnecessary scenes.
Direction - aleya sen : -
Aleya sen's direction is poor. She also this total messy old fashioned story with same old formulas of love breakup and marriage which we are tired of Watching. Her narration is also not good and predictable. Even you can predict the every scene of the movie. Second half is complete toruture just to test our patience.
Performance : -
Performance are only thing which hepls me watch movie for 2 hours. Taapsee pannu looks so charming amd acts really great in her both shades ( English teacher and business woman) saqreb saleem does very good job as a middle class boy and justifies his character. Nidhi singh is also good as sumit's second girlfriend. Rest of the cast also does their job fairly.
Music and dialouges : -
Music of the film is good. Gajab ka hai din bandey & dil jaane na are very good songs. While beat junglee and nachle na are okayish songs. The background music of the movie are below average and Hardly makes any impact. Dialogues are also below expectations and fail to entertain. Overall movie not at all enjoyable for youth. But if you still want to watch than don't expect anything from movie except performance and music.
