I just read Abby's review on Diet Squirt and I have to disagree with her.
At the age of eighteen my son Michael was told that he had diabetes. Now being eighteen and starting a life of your own, at best can be hard but to be slapped in the face with diabetes is another review of it's own.
Micheal could no longer drink anything with sugar in it so my husband and I were off to find something, anything that would bring a little bit of common back to my sons life.
I would be willing to bet that we bought every diet drink that there was out there. Diet Pepsi, Pepsi One, Diet Mountain Dew, Diet Dr.Pepper and Diet Squirt.
Michael took an instant dislike to Diet Mountain Dew, Diet Dr.Pepper and Diet Cole unless it was Diet Cherry Coke.
However he loves Diet Squirt and Fresca, they taste about the same. Not once has Michael ever complained about the taste of the Squirt. I have and do also drink Diet Squirt and I like the taste. The lemon and orange taste is very good, I have never had an after taste as Abby has stated.
In all fairness to Abby, our tastes may not be the same but for a diabetic Diet Squirt is a God send.This drink helped my son change from a sugared drink to a diet drink.
Healthy? Not really but when you are a diabetic, any liquid is better than none
