Now I believe that the quality of a soft drink lies mainly in your personal taste. Some may like that syrupy liquid that passes for a soft drink. Some may like the tons of sugar that keeps them up until four in the morning playing solitaire. That's okay, it's their taste.
Me, I'd go for a Diet Pepsi any time. Number one, I prefer diet to regular because it just tastes better to me. Regular is too sweet and thick, and I'll only drink it when desperate. Diet has less sugar too, but that's not a large factor with me.
Diet Pepsi just happens to have the right mix of flavor and carbonation to get me going. Now, I know sodas aren't addictive, but I sometimes get these cravings for an ice cold Diet Pepsi, you know?
I've tried Diet Coke, and it doesn't match up. I'm sorry but Coke tastes bitter where Diet Pepsi just tastes good. I got hooked a couple years ago, and now it's the drink of my choice. Of course, too much of any soda is bad for you, but somehow I just have to have a little pleasure in my life.
There's probably nothing to informative here, Diet Pepsi is not too sweet, not too carbonated(Did I mention the attractive packaging?)and it's widely available. You can drop by any convenience or grocery store and you'll most likely hear it calling out to you from it's little fridge, saying ''Come and get me!''.
Pepsi is one of the top soda companies, and next to Regular Pepsi and Mountain Dew, there's Diet Pepsi, crisp, cool, refreshing.
I'm not too sure about it being a thirst quencher, but it sure gives you that extra boost, that shiver down your spine, that ''Ahhhh, that's just what I needed'' feeling. In fact, all this writing has made me thirsty and there's 20 ounces of that wonderful liquid just a room away, waiting for me. I think it's saying my name.
