Ah, Diet Coke. Nothing tastes better when you're craving something sweet on a hot summer's day.

I know it's not the greatest thing to drink, but every once in a while we all need to treat ourselves.
Diet Coke beats Diet Pepsi by a mile as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't leave that awful tinny aftertaste. And it's just sweet enough to calm my sweet tooth down for a while.
It contains, water, caramel color, aspertame (an artificial sweetener), some potassium benzoate (a preservative for the great flavor), citric acid for the ''bite'' in the cola flavor, natural cola flavoring and it comes with or without caffeine.
It really is a great thirst quencher on hot, sweltering ,summer scorcher days!
It's not overly sweet and when served icy cold, it certainly cools me off.
Although nothing beats water or fruit juice as a thirst quencher, and I full well know that water and fruit juices are healthier, as an occasional sweet treat, it's got to be a Diet Coke for me.
Actually, I think I'll grab one now. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
