Well, one more remake from the tamil film industry has been released and this time it may be considered as a hit according to the collections but according to movie buffs it can be definitely assumed as a failed attempt at making an excellent movie.
As we all know, Dhruva is a remake of Thani oruvan and it has a run time of 2 hours and forty five minutes. That is a really long time considering there is no point where the audience are gripped. The plot is average but gets ruined by the heroine and the songs. The film is nowhere near the expectations.Instead, it is well below par considering the hero does not do anything so good to make us think he is extremely smart. There are some dialogues about how the press manipulates the press which is a saving grace for the movie.
The cast did their part as much as possible. The six pack abs of charan is definitely a plus. The scintillating beauty of rakul catered to lower class audience and the antagonist role is pretty much perefct until the climax. The comedy part isnt much but good enough to make you smile.
Hip Hop Tamizha really copied the hollywood trends and adapted them into this movie which makes the music kind of cliche but its good to listen. the only thing that stops us from sleeping in the movie is the really loud music that comes out of nowhere. The song neethoney dance embodies all western music and is quite a feast for the ears.
Cinematography is average.nothing extraordinary to be specifically told.
All in all, only watch if you are a fan of ram charan.
