I remember seeing this drama when it came out, its was the bst drama I had seen, and still today, its not dinimished. The intertwined stolyline, the characters, it has sadness, hope, love, humour but its decent, and not vulgar. it doesnt have over the top music or video effects. What captures your attention and holds it is the storyline, the acting and how you feel in your heart as the story progresses.
It's a great credit to Hasina Moin that she created a drama which even 19 years later, still captures hearts and i'm sure if it was aired again today, it would have a big following. The interplay in the characters, the was the story explains the hate and despair felt by Dr Ahmer, Dr Sheena's life and how she feels she is owed the love of a man who doesn't love her and of course Dr Zoya, who changes from an immature girl to a woman who becomes confident in herself and falls in love.
Theres something special in the spoken language, its beautiful, it draws you in, it doesnt feel forced and there are no intermixing of english as you see in so many serials today, It doesnt have rich famillies flying off around the world, and owning steel mills and huge business empires and treating people around them like dirt.
Its just an oustanding drama from a Golden Age of TV, which shows just how much poorer TV is today that this quality of programs are no longer being made.
the only con is that they should have made one mode episode showing them getting married, but thats just me, I didn't want it to end.
You should watch this with anyone that you love, be it your family, your spouse, your friends, or by yourself.
