Okay without revealing the suspense for those who haven't watched it yet. It's a good movie, I can't compare the first 2 parts because Dhoom 3 is much different than its earlier versions. It's more on story, intensity, drama & performance.
Aamir Khan is a revelation, & it's like we have so much expectations from him, that sometimes, the best performance also is not enough. Yes, the film should have been a bit more polished, more splendid in terms of the canvas.
But still it's a movie which can be watched at least twice. If Mr Acharya could have done without some of the stunts which defy laws of motion & some silly one liners from Uday Chopra, the film would have been much more acclaimed critically. Box office doesn't matter because anyhow it will be breaking all records, already the 1st day collection boasts of a whooping 34 crores.
I understand, Indian audience needs some "seeti" and "taali" moments, so we accept Dhoom 3 with all it's flaws just because of it's intensity & the entertainment quotient which notches few degrees higher.
Apart from Aamir khan, the rest of the cast has also done commendable job, Abhishek Bacchan looks good as the tough cop, Katrina Kaif has really worked hard to get those exquisite dance steps which deserves a round of applause. Uday Chopra as the comic relief comes average. Jackie Shroff is a veteran so no doubt, he completely justified his small but effective role. The kids are too cute & smart.
As far as the story goes, it's a revenge saga with a secret weapon.(Not revealing much).
Go for it guys, you won't be disappointed. It's an honest attempt to tell a story in an entertaining manner.
