Just saw the movie "Goal"....ek dum bandal movie hai.......Vivek Agnihotri should have taken the help of Aki (Akshay Kumar-Editing Specialist) instead of Ronnie Screwala......

Story **South Hall is a place in London known as home for Asians. They have their football club which is in bad shape for last 25 yrs & also got warning to either pay their dues or leave the club. Championship is being organised with a prize money of $ 3 million. After paying this money to the councellor, southhall united team can retain their club
Shaan (Arshad)is the captain of SUFT (SouthHall United Football Team).......team members r not professionals.......
Sunny (John)is brilliant forwarder playing for some English Leading Team....but because of racist he's being dropped from the final team despite being best player ......finally he joins SUFT....
Like SRK in chak de, boman was also best in this sport.........but he couldn't played the final due to some reason because of which Southhall Team lost the final 25 yrs back in 1985.Shaan requested him to coach his team.....
Bipsplays the role of physio of the team......
Ups & Downs r there in the movie and finally SUFT won the tournament..... pays the dues of their club.....
Shortcomings of the MOvie*
Script was not well prepared........John's acting was pathetic.He's good only on field. From acting point of view, he loose the ground.......Movie was soooooo long......IT's a 3.05 hrs movie, ....& the good part is that only 1/2 hr movie is interesting.....hahaha....rest it's become difficult to bear........At points it seems that vivek was confused whether to give comic scene or serious one........
Positives*
Music.....Pritam once again proved his excellence in his subject.........he's closely contesting with Vishal Shekhar for number one music director in the industry........brilliant use of Bag Piper.....
Shooting in London-always good to see.......Manchester United Club.
last half an hr movie which is full of field drama......

being sport oriented movie, it's ecpected to do 75-80% business in metros in first week......in second week it'll remain only in selected halls.....anyw this movie is not going to affect the current movies like OSO, Sawariya & JWM...
It'll be fair to give to this movie.
