It's an awesome movie for people who love comedy, not for serious people!

Director

Indra kumar is a versatile director in Bollywood. He understands the

pulse of the film lovers very well. The man who gave us hits like ‘Dil’

and ‘Beta’ based on love and emotions, also tried his hands at a

mischievous  ‘Masti’

followed by ‘Pyare Mohan’ both based on comedy. Though ‘Masti’ turned

out to be a hit amongst youngsters, ‘Pyare Mohan’ just went unnoticed.

The director must have realized that there was more vulgarity than comedy in his last two films.  So,

this time, he comes all prepared with his paperwork and research.

Perhaps, he wanted to reach to the masses, including children . He

found a scriptwriter in Paritosh Painter, who till then created good

comedies on stage and their co-ordination worked. All that Indra kumar

needed was a good script to target the family audience. As a director,

he was capable enough to handle the non stop comedy with his ace expertise as a director.

His latest film  ‘Dhamaal’

offers four youths Roy(Ritesh Deshmukh), Adi Arshad Warsi, Manav( Javed

Jaffery) and Boman( Aashish Chaudhary) who live together and do petty

jobs. But, when they cheat and lie with the owner of the house, they

are on the streets. They think of  selling

a painting to a dead man’s family and land into trouble. When they are

freed from this trouble, they spot an accident and try to save an

injured man-Bose( Prem Chopra), who before taking his last breath,  reveals

to them the location of hidden treasure amounting to Rs.10 crores.

Police inspector KabirNayak( Sanjay Dutt), who is on the look out for  Bose for the past 10 years,  arrives

at the scene only after the man dies. Thereafter, he tries to extract

from the four youths, the secret about the hidden treasure.  Somehow,

the four boys manage to escape and from thereon director Indra kumar

holds the steering in his hands and takes the viewers for a ride in

search of the money.

Inspector

Kabir is on a trail of the four, who split half way through to

find their own ways to reach the destination at the earliest. Very

cleverly the scenes have been knitted with each other  to

make it a hilarious comedy. There is nothing much in the story but the

handling of the screenplay makes all the difference . With gags,

laughter and thrills supported by special effects, the film reaches the

climax where it reminds you of your duty to the society. In short, a

happy ending with a message.

The popular

pair of Munnabhai is back again. This time they are not together, but

opposite each other. All five of them combine very well with a perfect

timing for comedy, whenever they faced each other. More than Arshad and

Javed( the brother duo) the father and son combination between Nari

Contractor( Asrani) and his son-Boman( Aashish Chaudhary) did

exceptionally well. Needless to add that Sanjay Dutt and  Ritesh

Deshmukh were also good in their performances; but the director

certainly stands tall, for the success of ‘Dhamaal’. He has offered a

clean comedy with quality that can be viewed by parents with their

children without feeling uncomfortable from start to finish. In short,

it is a total  entertainment for all.
