I would recommended everyone who is reading this POST not to APPLY DHFL Home Loans
It was a nightmare with DHFL please read below, i have justified my statement below
I wanted to take a home loan and one of my friend suggested me DHFL.
I then applied for DHFL Home Loan for Rs 15 lakhs @ 11.00% Interest (i have proof)
Once I had given them the Original Documents it just took 5 days for them to clear my file and DHFL revert back to me with Sanction Letter of Rs 15 Lakhs with 11.5% interest (i have proof)
I was surprised at 11.5% and they gave me clarifications that on 15 lakhs we would do your insurance which is rs 27500 and now your loan amount would be Rs 15, 27, 500 and according to their slab of interest rate More then Rs 15 lakhs interest is 11.5%, I had to sacrifice at that point of time because I was left with no option
Now comes the time when I had to Submit my property papers, I gave all the papers provided by seller to DHFL and there was 1 discrepancies into it, it has 1 original agreement missing for the 1st buyer and the builder, I was the third buyer
It took 20 longs days for DHFL to identify that Original Agreement is missing
Finally after reaching Maharshtra stamp duty office I was able to collect the Original Agreement and provided it to DHFL.
In Between I had some adjustment of money and I wanted to reduce my home loan from Rs 15 Lakhs to Rs 8 Lakhs but DHFL didnt gave me the processing fees of Rs 7000/- which is Rubbish
I wanted to take my Share Certificate of Society and DHFL itself takes 3 months to register all my documents in their database. finally after hundreds of phone call I was able to get the Share Certificate after 5 months. Again the Worst customer support of DHFL
In every bank at the time of home loan you have to provid 12 or 15 or 10 blank cheques depending on bank requirement and they call it as Security Cheques.
even I had provided them 12 cheques as security deposit.
One of their user put a future date(i Still have proof for the same) in the cheque and gave it for bank clearing which got bounced, They levied penalty of Rs250/- to my account inspite of their mistake and providing proof by me to them from my bank.
I am going to file a consumer court complaint against them
Now I have Prepaid entire loan amount and I dont know how many more days I will have to call their customer support for my all original documents
It was a nightmare with DHFL
