I am a avid fan of Abay Deol and have watched all of his movies and a good thing about them is they are not in the same league as the other Bollywood movies. The DevD takes the idea from the Devdas that's been made twice and both the movies have been great hits.But what DevD extracted from the same plot was never revealed in either the SRK starrer or the one by Dilip Sahab.
DevD is refreshing , its new , and contains a nostalgia that today's generation relates to. What Abhay Deol did in the movie is not only iconic but real and intriguing. I like this particular movie for its pace, its real life incidences, and the performances given by each of the actors.
I hope that Abhay Deol continues such good work and gives us reasons to smile and experience quality Cinema.
