I have been a customer with DB for a few years now and like the rest I was attracted towards their low interest rate and a pleasing sales person. To my surprise that was more like a trap, as their interest rates kept going up.


I have started to pay my loan off by sending in money through wire and everytime I send them money through wire, I get a confirmation from my bank that the transaction was successful and yet to my surprise the credit is not reflecting in my loan account for weeks together. When I reached out to their phone banking, I was told that I need to supply MT103 form for them to process my wire transfer. I have done a couple of transactions and same behavior, I just don't understand why they need MT103 form which is basically an inter bank wire transfer remittance form.


As a customer they are asking me, however the remitting bank also sends them that with the funds. So to me it feels like the bank is keeping the money in suspense to earn interest or it is utilizing the money until the customer claims and is also charging the customer interest. All of this is ridiculous for such a financial institution.


Another worst experience that I've had with DB phone banking and email support - I've called them 3 times and sent them a couple of emails requesting them to update my email address and they keep denying my request with the excuse that my mobile phone was switched off even after giving them a window of my availability. I have clearly mentioned that I work in a restricted network coverage facility and will not be available on my cell phone. I just don't get the practice that they follow.


I am just waiting to pay my loan off and say GOOD BYE to #DEUTSCHE BANK
