This is yet another American Indian movie….with immature people as director, producer, and actor.

~American Desibecame the surprising Hit of the year. With showing some realistic look at desi in America and ABCDs. One of my favorite movies now.

~Then, came along, Wings of Hope, which was just missed by people cause they didn’t promote it well. Movie showed the darker side of being an Indian in U.s. Gangs, sex, drugs…! Movie started great actors as Suresh Oberoi, Deepti Naval, “Nehru Guy”, and a new actor.

~Monsoon Weddingwas not really an American Indian movie….but a hinglish flick. Which showed a look at what happens when the whole family comes to the wedding.

Then, came American Chai, which took a look at a Indian singer’s struggle with his family.

Newest movie to hit the American Indian market is , Desi Pardesi sounds like a nice title – right?

You think its going to be a sensible movie with some good morals!?

But NO! This movie is a Westside desi ishtyle.

Guy likes a girl – girl’s parents who are Indian, think its all wrong plus he is from a different caste. Girl’s brother is somewhat of a Indian Thug ( is it me..or this is soooooo hilarious!) – Indian Thug – hahhha!!!! (Get a life)

Boy helps girl’s dad without knowing that he is her father. Father is very happy to know that we have such good Indians here.

Blah Blah! Boy gets the girl…

Now enough about the story…the story isn’t all that bad but the way its made and the acting by new Desis in u.s – is just tooo hilarious. Their Hindi is so awful ( I think they should hire me to at least to the dubbing for them) And they overreact to every scene.

Funniest part is that, the actors are so busy acting American they forget that they are making themselves look like an idiot (same goes for the Bollywood stars these days)

You will def. Be caught laughing – not necessarily it’s a funny scene but its soooo stupid and u r laughing thinking “why the hec am I still watching this movie”

I m definitely not looking to their future projects. I think the couple in the movie are real life couple.

Movie is directed, produced, acted by Viraj Patel.

When I got the dvd to watch this movie…saw they actually had a website so thought of visiting it :::: here’s what the site says “Its all about being an Indian”

Now if this is what being Indian is all about…I m not Indian at all…..I m not a girl who doesn’t know hindi, I m not a thug wanna be, I m not Guju, I m def. Not that American to walk like I have two left feet.

This movie shows nothing of being an Indian nor being an American Indian.

As for the future American Indian movies….I think the next movie is GREEN CARD FEVER (which I m looking forward too) Cause it stars American Desi’s couple. Plus looks like a hilarious movie to watch!!!
