Im going to start of by saying, this is an excellent book and a wonderful read.
I Havent read the other books in the triology but the way and style how the author writes is that of a very understandable manner.
However, in this book, it could be widely misunderstood that alcoholism is allowed is islam. Infact it is a major sin. The author has given a perfect example of how the rich can get away with anything, including the law or something that is not part of your religion. The royal family of Saudi should be leading their lives by setting an example for others to follow, since they living in one of the most holiest cities, but they are living their lives in the total opposite manner of what they should.
Many would think that this is the way Islam is and would get the wrong Impression, but this is the way the rich lead their lives and not the majority.
