Why only AMU. Why?
Why fingers are always raised on the reservation for Muslims? AMU is not the only education institution providing reservation to their community. Stephens college (DU), Jesus & Merry college (DU), Handsaw college (DU), also provides reservation to the students of their community, is it not hindering merit? Is it not detrimental to society? Is it not anti-secular? Are they not bringing divisive attitude among countrymen? Why only AMU to be questioned. Why?
Why law has given minority status to any university if it hinders merit or if it is anti-secular? To uplift sc/sty, they are given reservations is it not hindering merit? Then why not to uplift Muslim community, which is a very weak but very important part of the society. More Muslims are illiterate they should be given a platform to prove themselves. AMU being minority university have full right to reserve the seats for Muslims. Law gave it a minority status because of the reason Muslims could come up. AMU is doing wonderfully apreciable job.
People are bragging AMU calling it an anti-secular move I think the lesson of secularity should be first given to Mode & RSS who openly declares to demolish Muslims. The Muslims had a big lesson of being illiterate After Godhead and Barbie mashed riots. When the so called leaders will make such bias, immoral, detrimental statements publicly than obviously it will make the very few responsible people realize that to live long they need to fight back for their own rights & the need to make themselves strong enough to stand.
Being the only big education institution for Muslims in India AMU must help the Muslim community to make the Muslims literate otherwise its very difficult to uplift Muslim. The step taken by AMU is appreciable as it is the one who can really make a difference in Muslim literacy rate.
