My first solo trip was Deoghar when I was 16. And from then I have visited Deoghar 6 times till now. My last trip to Deoghar was in March 2017. Deoghar is a town in Deoghar district, Jharkhand. Deoghar is well connected with road, rail. By road, it is at the distance of 373 Km from Kolkata, 60 Km from Giridih and 281 KM from Patna. By Rail, it is well connected with all the major railway stations of India. The nearest Railway station is Baidyanath Dham. which is 8 km from Deoghar. From station buses, cab, and autos are available. The fare of the vehicles is affordable. Jasidih is another nearby station of Deoghar, from Jasidih station you can also hire vehicles for Deoghar. From October to March is the best time to visit Deoghar. Summer is very very hot in Deoghar, that's why I suggest that don't go in summer.

Deoghar is enriched with its nature and devotion. It is one of the most popular places before independence among Bengalis, because of its weather and quality of curing various disease. There are many places to visit in Deoghar, the best places to visit in Deoghar are.

Baidyanath Dham: Baidyanath Dham is considered as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga. It is one of the most popular religious places in India among Hindus. The whole temple is made of stone and consistent with other 21 temples.

Naulakha Mandir: Another attraction of Deoghar is Naulakha Temple. This centuries old 146 ft high temple is made of sand stone by the former queen Rani Charushila of Deoghar. It is to be said that, this temple was built by spending Nine lakh Rupees that time.

Tapobon: Tapobon is situated 10 km from Deoghar town is very popular for its caves and adventure. It is also popular for its mythological value. If you are in Tapobon, you must hire a guide for the stories and mysteries of Tapobon. The monkeys in Tapobon is another interesting thing, which you must see.

Trikut Pahar: Situated 13 km from Deoghar Town, the hill has an altitude of 1, 350 ft. The name Trikut is for its three peaks. Trikut is popular for its trekking and also for some temples. It is also popular for its adventurous ropeway riding. a mirror house and a restaurant. the sunset is looked gorgeous from this hill.

Ramakrishna Ashram: Popular among tourist, it has 12 football fields. Build in 1922 and run by Ramakrishna math and mission, Beliu, Howrah.

Satsang Nagar: A holy place of Deoghar, is popular for popular philanthropist Sri Thakur Anukulchandra. It has a museum, an Ashram of Anukulchandra, a zoo and a memorial.

Basukinath, Shiv Ganga, Rikhia Ashram are other interesting places in Deoghar.

There are plenty of hotels in Deoghar. From budget hotels to resort everything is available in Deoghar. The tariffs are between 300 rupees to 2000 rupees. Most hotels are in the main Bazar of Deoghar town. The hotels are clean and the staffs are gentle.

Safety is a thing, which depends on you. If you avoid the mess and deal the situation with gentleness, you will be safe.
