I bought this laptop almost 2 years back and at that time it was regarded as one of the best deals ever. I bought it for 50K + and which ever site I had read the review, gave me a go ahead for this product.

Initially, it was working fantastically well. the speed was great and in my peer group it was regarded as the best looking laptop, the one that comes the closest to a Mac. Right about 8 months later, one of the keypads failed. It was a disheartening experience because till then I believed in the Dell quality and had vehemently argued with my Apple friends on this point. then in the 11th month since my purchase, a small window popped up with the message saying that the battery should be replaced. I was shocked, I had paid more than 50 grand for the laptop and within a year the battery failed. About the same time, there was a small whirring noise and I found that the fan was doing a little too much. and the keypad is now pretty hot. it seems dust had gotten in. All these problems happened within a few weeks of the expiry of my warranty. I procrastinated in calling in my problems and I couldn't get any benefit. they want me to take a one year warranty which is gonna cost me plenty.

Also, 3 of my friends who have the same model have battery issues. One of them, his screen is not working and its too expensive to replace( Screen cost = rs 19, 000 wow!). As was with me, their problems too began right after the warrant expired.

Please don't recommend this product to anyone!
